ARTMONEY EXHIBITION IN COPENHAGEN

ARTMONEY exhibition at The Bank and Savings Museum, Overgaden Neden Vandet 11, Copenhagen, from Friday, September 11, 2020

120 artist from all around the world are exhibiting there visual expression around the Corona crisis in time-specific artmoney.

The visual idea I have in mind when taking on this challenge, are the microscope pictures of the corona virus we see in the media. The virus is harmful and has affected humans all over the world, but the form and the colours and interesting! I have converted the pictures of viruses to embroidery patterns and embroidered on canvas with woollen yarn.

The National Museum of Denmark has purchased 12 artmoney for their exhibition “Money” in 2022. The artworks will also be included in the permanent collection forever!
